Poly Check is an attendance application. It uses the minimum information needed to create accounts, join courses, record attendance, and verify that a student is within a teacher-defined attendance area during an active class session.
Poly Check may process your name, school email address, account role, course enrollment, attendance records, and precise location during check-in and while an active attendance session is being verified.
Location is requested only while you are using the app for attendance features. Poly Check does not request background location permission. Location readings used for attendance may be stored with attendance records so an instructor can verify the check-in.
Production application data is stored using Cloudflare D1 and served through Cloudflare Workers. Apple may process information associated with App Store distribution and TestFlight according to Apple's policies.
You can delete your Poly Check account from inside the app. Student account deletion removes the account, enrollments, sessions, and attendance records. Teacher account deletion also removes courses owned by that teacher and their associated attendance records.
Poly Check does not sell personal information and does not include advertising trackers.
